S&P 500 (Mar 13) INTRADAY Review It has been a fairly wild period between Christmas and New Year for the S&P index as the Fiscal Cliff rollercoaster reached the end of its ride. Monday 31st December saw the S&P reverse the losses of the previous week in a rally that totalled approximately 40 points as the Senate worked through the night in order to pass a tax hike bill in a last ditch attempt to avoid the cliff.
